Toyota Corolla I need the head bolt torque specs and sequence

This answer was rated:

I need the head bolt torque specs and sequence for a 2000 Corolla VVTi engine.

Is it necessary to automatically replace the head bolts when reinstalling a head?

Below is the torque spec and procedure along with the sequence to tighten them. The head bolts are not necessary but recommended.

Thanks but what are the two numbers....36 (49)?

Sorry, the 36 is the ft lbs torque and the 49 is the metric equivalent.
