On this vehicle, the spark plugs are located under the individual ignition coils. You will need to remove the ignition coils to access the plugs.

 

  • REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
  • REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH ELEMENT
  • REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY
  • REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLYgraphic
  • Disconnect the 8 ignition coil connectors.
  • Remove the 8 bolts and 8 ignition coils.
  • REMOVE SPARK PLUG -
  • Using a 16 mm plug socket, remove the 8 spark plugs.
