Hello and thank you for using just answer!

Was anything done to the truck before this issue happened?

Did you just refuel?

Is the check engine light on solid or is it blinking?

Does the truck seem to run ok?

Do you have access to a scanner to pull codes out of the computer?

check engine light is solid

ok, really it will need to go on a scan tool to see what area the computer recognizes an issue in, check to be sure you put the gas cap back on tight because it can cause this issue first as that is a common issue. A commonly confused and misunderstood thing here is that when the check engine light comes on it ALSO sets the VSC and and TRAC systems into OFF mode as a failsafe feature. If the gas cap is loose then you can simply disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the lights but if that is not the issue then more involved diagnostice with a scanner are needed to see what is happening. Because the light is on solid this means that it is a secondary sensor bot a primary sensor malfunctioning so the truck is not unreliable or unsafe to drive for now. If the light was blinking then that would indicate a major issue such as a misfire and it would not be drivable.
