How do you reset the check engine light on a 2001 Toyota Tundra it came on yesterday. Thank You

Hello: To clear out any codes remove the neg. battery cable from the battery for about 5 mids. this will clear out any codes from the system Thank_you please let me know if I can be of other assistance with this issue
