HelloCustomer if the pedal is sticking then you need to determine if the problem is coming from the pedal, the throttle cable, or the throttle body. You need to disconnect the throttle cable at the throttle body. Then move the throttle body to see if it opens and closes smoothly. If it does not replace it. If it does then you need to see if the cable is binding up.

what is the cost

If the problem is the throttle body it typically costs about $1000 for a new one and if it is the cable that is usually about $200.
