i have an 88 toyota pickup, has a rebuilt engine from an 87. It runs fine until i am going up a hill or trying to pass another vehicle. It hesitates or kind of hickups. i have new electrical; rotar, spark plugs, wires. maybe its the fuel pump? changed the fuel filter a couple of days ago...

Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX sounds like a weak fuel pump, you will have to verify this with a manual pressure gauge, the pressure should not drop below 33 psi under load,Tim
