2001 toyota tacoma: im getting a fault code (p0125, p1135 )

Customer Question

im getting a fault code (P0125, P1135 ) on a 2001 toyota tacoma. What sensor is this and how do i replace it?

The p1135 refers to the air/fuel ratio sensor heater circuit for bank 1 sensor 1. If you have a V6 engine, it is located in the right side (passenger) exhaust. It is the first sensor downstream from the head. If you have a 4 cylinder, it is also the first sensor downstream. Replacing this sensor will usually repair your problem, however in rare cases, an ECU or wiring problem may be the cause. I would not worry about the p0125 code. These codes are often stored when the sensor fails and will be correct with the sensor replacement.
