2003 corolla: headliner..sunroof..antena..the base and one wire

This answer was rated:

How do remove the headliner in a 2003 corolla? No sunroof. Trying to replace the antena which has been pulled out leaving nothing but the base and one wire.

Hello I will help you with your question,

I believe you can get to the base by lowering the rear of the headliner and you do not have to pull the entire liner.

First how much of the antenna is left? Can you just replace the mast?

If not start by removing the hanger clips and grab handles

Then the dome light

Then start at the bottom and work up for the rear trim

At this point you should be able to drop the rear of the headliner. If you need to take the rest off it is more of the same work from the bottom with the sill plates, b pillartrim, visors. map light and so forth. If you have the replacement you will have a better idea of how far you will need to go to repair this
