Our 2004 Camry LE dashboard lights for the fan and thermostat

Customer Question

Our 2004 Camry LE dashboard lights for the fan and thermostat went out recently. No fuses bad. I suspect bad connection or bulbes out. How do I replace them? I don't know how to pull out the AC panel out

AIR CONDITIONER CONTROL ASSEMBLY

Air Conditioner Control Assembly


OVERHAUL

  1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER CONTROL ASSEMBLY. Use a small screwdriver that is either covered or taped up, gently pry out the AC control panel. It is only held in place by "claws".
  2. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY


  1. Release the 4 fitting claws, remove the 5 screws.


  1. Disconnect the connector, remove the heater control housing sub-assembly.
    1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL BULB
      1. Remove the air conditioning control bulb from the heater control base sub-assembly.


    1. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
      1. Remove the 9 screws and heater control base sub-assembly.



    1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL BULB
      1. Install the air conditioning control bulb to the heater control base sub-assembly.
