The fuel filter is under the intake manifold. There are 2 17mm banjo bolts the hold the lines to both ends of the canister. There are two 12 mm head bolts that hold the filter on the bracket that is bolted to the block. Click the link below and on the bottom of page one there is a picture of the location.
