Hello and thank you for using just answer. Common repair on this car. Toyota repair manuals do not provide specific directions for each specific components, they show overhaul for an entire system, in this case the door so let me provide you with several links:



Remove 2

The reapir manual gives a good visual description of this, the first link shows how the door is put together, remove 1 shows entire door overhaul- you only need to remove the interior door panel and the interior handle, once you do this you can peel back the plastic vapor barrier to access the exterior handle, the exterior handle is held in place by 2 10mm bolts, remove these 2 bolts and remove the metal rods that connect to the handle, (a bright light will be needed to see well) the lock cylinder slides back into the door and you can wiggle the handle out. Note the overhaul instructions don't include the exterior handle on this year, I posted remove 2 link that shows the handle on a 1993 model that is VERY similar and shows a better picture-review this document also for a better understanding.
