The fuel filter is located on the inner fender area on the driver's side, remove the top of the air filter housing, take out the air filter and remove the three bolts in the bottom, remove the air filter completely to get to the fuel filter, on the top of the filter is a 17mm banjo type fuel fitting with two sealing washers, remove this fitting, on the bottom is a 14mm flare type fitting, both of these fittings can be very tight, I recommend using a 14mm line wrench to loosen the bottom fitting, once the fittings and lines have been removed remove the 10mm mounting bolts, installation procedure is the reverse,by the way, it's a good idea to remove the gas cap to release any pressure in the tank and I also recommend the toyota OEM filter which comes with the mounting bracket and new sealing washers, most cheaper aftermarket filters don't.
