Customer Question

I have a toyota tundra 2000 and the four wheel drive has stopped working. When I press the button to engage it, it just does not engage. What could be possible reasons?

Have someone press the button to engage it and you get underneath and rap on the 4WD Actuator on the back of the transfer case - looks like a power window motor.

Reply to Sparkybuoy's Post: i hate to sound like a retard, but, is the transfer case the 'pumpkin' for the front wheels?

No...the transfer case is the oval case mounted to the back of the transmission.
