Hi I suffer from constant tiredness. flu like feeling, mucus

HiI suffer from constant tiredness. flu like feeling, mucus production and occasional skin rashes. My problems started 4 years ago with migraine headaches and constant mucus problems while living in India. I had 2 sinus surgeries in 2009 & 2010. At the post op check in 2010 I complained that I was still producing mucus and waking up with flu like symptoms every morning, the consultant told me that my sinus's were now clear and if it did not improve by 6 weeks time to see a neurologist. I saw a neurologist and a sleep study was done but there was no evidence of sleep apnoea or restless legs. An MRI scan of the head was also clear. We moved from India to Indonesia with my husbands job in 2011 and the tiredness/exhaustion & migraine headaches did not improve. I had another ENT consultation and was told there is no sinus problem, for 2 months I took Antihistamine, Decongestant & nasal steroid spray but there was no improvement in the mucus production or constant tiredness. Blood tests were carried out and although my blood count was a little low I was told it would not be causing me a problem. My next step was food intolerance testing - the results showed a high intolerance to casein (protein in milk), gluten (gliadin) & egg white. I changed my diet last November and have been very careful with what I eat since then. The bloated tummy & migraine headaches that I had been suffering stopped after about 6 weeks of changing my diet. However, I still suffer from constant mucus in the back of my throat, wake every morning feeling flu like and tired, these sypmtoms usually ease as the day goes on but sometimes I need to sleep during the afternoon.I have just had blood tests again which still show a below the suggested blood count range and also low Alkaline Phosphatase. My symptoms get me down and I fear that I am now becoming depressed as I just want to feel 'normal' again!I live in a remote area of Indonesia and do not have access to a reliable doctor (we usually travel to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore for medical checks o& consultations).Best regardsMarilyn Abraham

For many years I've had recurrent chronic nasal polyps that block my olfactory sensors, as well as air flow. Oral and topical steroids did not solve, and after each polypectomy (4 total), they just come right back.I only tested responsive to must mite, but after applying MANY home elimination measures, polyps did not resolve. What can I try in order to regain my sense of smell and normal air flow?

18 months ago i had a huge fall from 2metres. i hurt shoulder and both wrists. shoulder is recieving cortisone shot and improving.anyway, De Quervain's tendonitis in the right one. But big problem is left, forearm muscles have wasted and atrophy, wrist only moves down to 60 degrees, and joint is sore when i bend the hand back - on both wrists! what is a conservative option - i have done physio but joint is just screwed up!

I have what must be stressed related stubborn hypertension.

I have what must be stressed related stubborn hypertension. This has been going on for about 11 months now, starting from 140/90 and escalating to 170/100 about three months ago. Some days it goes beyond that mark in both counts. Needless to say that I have tried several medications and combinations with the advice of my doctor, but nothing seems to work sufficiently. I normally eat everything that is connected with lowering blood pressure and avoid anything that promotes it. I can do with loosing around 7 kilos. I cannot exercise hard because of an aneurism near the aorta. I mostly walk twice a day for about 10 minuits each time. I have tried boosting results with a moderate dose of Magnesium as well as Potassium. I also take CoQ10 100mg,Vitamins C,E,D3,carlic pills and L-Arginine 500mg. I have been a vegetarian for over 25 years. My age is 65yo. My stress is not self induced and I can do very little to control it. I am aware of the three outcomes this is leading if I do not find a way to lower my B.P. Please advice me what to do about this problem.Thank you.N.T.

I am a yoga therapist and am presently working with a man who has guillian barre . What would be the most beneficial things I could do for him? We have practiced deep breathng and some balancing positions where he can reach for a table near by. He is at the tail end of this...Can do most anything, walk stairs, drive. His feet need help. The toes don't work too well. I would appreciate any help you be and any suggestions as to positions in Yoga. Thanks very much.
