Charged with aggravated assault & arrested by NJSP. Spent 75

Charged with aggravated assault & arrested by NJSP. Spent 75 days in jail waiting to be indicted. While there a TRO was placed against me and I went to the hearing and although the plaintiff and witness testified against me the judge said the charges weren't substantiated and threw them out. After that the grand jury remanded the case to the municipality. I've been to court 3 times (although county provided a public defender the municipality would not) asked for a dismissal through the prosecutor but he shook his head. I'm ready to defend myself but the plaintiff and witness are my son-in-law and wife. They both don't want to testify against me at this point. What can we do?

Hello.I have nephew that when he was 17 he went to juvenile hall for a month due to multiple time stealing and one time drug use then was put on probation and a program which he came out and with 4 guys when a girl came to visit and while drinking they all rape the girl. he is been in the jail now for 6 months and still going to court, his appointed attorney talking about that he will get two to three years if he sign the accusation.1. should we hire our own attorney to see if they can do a batter job?2. should we seek to find the victim and ask her to change her story may be by giving money for her suffering. would the defense attorney would take her story and not proceed?3. since he has green card and this is his second offense, they tell us that he would be deported, is this correct? is there any way that we can so he wont get deported?4. should he sign the paper or we should proceed without signing?any addition advises that you can give us what we should do.thanksjames

Felony charged due to psychotic break; what is my best deal?

I had a psychotic break and during my hallucinations I broke out a church's antique stained glass windows. I was charged with felony vandalism to a place of worship. They offered me a plea deal where the felony will be discharged under the GA 1st offender's act , but I have to pay $27,000 in restitution, serve 5 years on probation, and 100 hrs of community service. I have had a history of mental illness but was officially diagnosed after this incident occurred. Is this plea bargain the best I could hope for? The only reason I caused any damage to the church was because of my psychotic break. I would never do such a thing intentionally. I'm now stable and on medication.I was arrested, charged and arraigned. And offered the plea deal.I have police reports that include witness accounts of me hallucinating and in the middle of psychosis. And I have doctors and psychiatrists records.

California: Saturday morning, Sept 3, @ approx 4:00am I

California: Saturday morning, Sept 3, @ approx 4:00am I awoke to a loud noise. After investigating the inside of the house, I looked out a bedroom window and saw a man hiding beneath the window on the outside. I set off our alarm and told him to "get out of here!" My wife called the police. I checked our security camera footage and have on video two males trespassing (our entire house is surrounded by a fence) near our outside air conditioning unit. Male #1 lifted male #2 onto our pergola (where male #2 goes off-camera) giving him access to the window where I later found him. After a quick search of the neighborhood, the police picked up male #1 and identified him from my video. They cited him with P.C. 602 and made me fill out a citizen's arrest form; male #2 has not been identified or found. Why was male #1 not charged with attempted burglary? If male #1 didn't have warrants he would have been cited and released and not arrested. Do we have any recourse?

City of West Allis, Wisconsin Spouse received a citation for

City of West Allis, WisconsinSpouse received a citation for DC with a weapon. He pleaded not guilty and has already met with the Assistant DA where it was not resolved. A trial date has been set.Asst DA refused to give any more than five minutes of her time. Told him she had too many other people to see, said "end of discussion" and walked out.Spouse cannot afford an attorney for a trial. He is on disability. I work though, so not sure if we would qualify for a free public defender or something like that. What should he do now? Since a trial date has been set and I am told that the date cannot be changed because they now have already started the process of sending out summons to the officers and other parties. What if other parties do not show up? Is it too late to just pay the original citation and make this go away?
