Our puppy recently came down with parvovirus but was removed

Our puppy recently came down with parvovirus but was removed from the house and put in quarantine before I came home with my adult dog. The house was cleaned and the food and water dishes removed. Now my adult dog is sneezing and coughing. Shows no interest in his usual food. No vomiting or diarrhea but seems lethargic. Is it possible for an adult dog to get distemper from the parvovirus left behind by the puppy? Are distemper and parvovirus even related?

My dog was diagnosed with kennel cough. Given the standard

My dog was diagnosed with kennel cough. Given the standard antibiotic and temaril p. Since being on the temaril, he's had zero coughing episodes. I know conditions typically get worse, and he has not. Whatever was causing it has not seemed to progress as he shows no other signs of being ill. He's eating, playing, chasing aquirrels and mailmen, barking at the kids on the street and such. The vet listened closely to his heart and lungs and heard nothing. He just said that his tonsils were slightly inflamed. Now, I'm not sure how he got sick. He doesn't interact with other dogs. He hasn't gotten loose. He went to a groomer 3 weeks ago, but the incubation period is 3 to 10 days, so he likely didn't get it there. So that scares me. But all things being said, he is perfectly normal while on the temaril/antibiotics coctail. Is there any kind of indication I would see that he is getting better? Or is the temaril just masking the issue and will he regress when we stop the meds?
