2. Bill of Sale- this legal document can be written and signed by the seller of the property to the buyer that legally hands over the ownership of this property. The bill of sale also keeps a record of the important agreement of the sale and works as a receipt for the property.

If someone has come across the fact they have lost their legal proof of ownership for their home or property, the individual can regain this legal document from their local courthouse or the county clerk’s office. The individual can look up their property in the land records. If the unemployed spouse is listed on the Title to the Property, or what is known as the Deed, it will not matter if they are on the mortgage or not. The loan for this property comes with no proof of ownership or anything else. The mortgage is just a debt that the working spouse is the only person is named as the lender; they also have an option against this if the mortgage does not get paid. So, what his means is that the unemployed spouse does not have a responsibility to pay on the mortgage, and if it does not get paid, then it could possibly affect their personal credit. Now, since they are listed on the deed, this means that they have an half the interest on the property.
