Hi,My oil hot water heater does not appear to be firing.

Hi, My oil hot water heater does not appear to be firing. The oil burner motor runs and the fan inside spins fast but makes a whirring almost rattling sound. I lifted the transformer and removed the nozzle and did a quick and dirty cleaning of the nozzle and wiped down the electrodes and insulators. I could blow air thru the nozzle and it's internal filter seemed not clogged. Still did not fire. I noticed irregular broken pieces of 1/8" thick bits of plastic about 2 to three inches long inside the fan housing in the blow? tube where the nozzle assembly sits. To the best of my visibility they seem to be shattered pieces of the casing or axle housing in the center of the of the fan but just guessing. Also wondering I have a Bock model 51E tank with a 29 year old RWB Beckett oil burner (emerson motor) No V-270845 and a single stage Webster 3450 RPM fuel pump (same age) I'm not sure if the broken pieces mean anything and if come from the fuel pump or the oil burner and why if the motor runs why it doesn't fire. It will shut itself down after running for 30secs to 1 minute. Can the oil burner be repaired and if replaced should I also replace the transformer, fuel pump and any other electrical/peripherals Thanks Mike Edit- My 550 gallon oil tank has 17 inches of oil in it. By the looks of the parts diagram, I'm guessing the flexible coupling has shattered or broken down in side the fan/motor. Does this prevent firing?

The oven in my Bosch model HGS236UC/01 range is not reaching

The oven in my Bosch model HGS236UC/01 range is not reaching proper heat setting.....takes over an hour to preheat. There's a poping sound when the burner fires, such as in a delayed ignition on an oil burner. Does this unit have a glow coil igniiter ? If so could it be weak? The unit is approximately 6 years old. If you concur can you help with a part number and tell me how to access the igniter? Could it be something else?
