Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?Customer: i can get tv menu. I only have 2 inputs. One accesses my internet/tv service and one access Netflix, but nothing else is available unless I use the remote for iheart & amazon.JA: How long has this been an issue? Hi there! I want to be able to pull up a web page on my tv but don't know how to do it. Can you walk me through it?JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?Customer: It is a Vizio E65-E1 and is just a few months old.JA: Does the TV menu work? My Samsung wall mounted TV was disconnected for a few days

My Samsung wall mounted TV was disconnected for a few days when my office was being repainted. Ever since I have reconnected the TV I have begun receiving a 5-panelled interruption on the TV screen to whatever show I am watching. The 1sr panel says Series 8 at the top with the following info below: ultra slim ultra filterbright plus internet@@TV. A 2nd panel says Eco friendly 41%, and then there are 3 additional panels with various TV information about its capabilities. The panels come on about once every 3 minutes and disappear by themselves after a minute or so. As you can imagine this interruption interferes with my viewing. Can you help?JA: How old is your Samsung, and have you tried unplugging it and leaving it off for a few hours?Customer: my TV is about 5 years old and, yes, it has been unplugged a few days while my office was being painted. The TV is plugged into my Directv cable box, which in turn is plugged into the wall outlet.JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?Customer: the TV menu works. we have 6 tvs in the house and this is the only one that has this problem. I was wondering whether these 5 panels of information are emitted from the TV? Could there be a control button or series of buttons on the Samsun remote apparatus itself which could turn off these annoying series of on-screen interruptions?JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?Customer: this has been an issue ever since the office wall where the tv is mounted was painted... about 1 month ago. However, I currently have 5 receivers in HD and about the only thing I can find to cut back is the sports package and "extra" that will only save about $50.00 a month.. Is internet TV a suitable alternative? About all I watch are movies, sports and news. I do have the ability to get to Netflicks and Amazon Video though my Blu-Ray Players.

When I go to connect to the Internet to access Netflix, I have this message on my screen: "Connect to the Internet and enjoy a variety of contents through [email protected]..." I cannot clear that message from my screen. When I press "Return: on my remote, the TV switches back to my cable network. If I then press "Internet" the screen displays the just described message. Any thoughts.JA: How old is your Samsung, and have you tried unplugging it and leaving it off for a few hours?Customer: It is 6 years old. I've unplugged it for 5 minutes and also removed and later installed the wifi antenna that goes with the tv. But, I haven't left the tv off for a few hours.JA: Does the TV menu work? What happened right before this popped up?Customer: A few days ago, we tried to access Netflix. The TV would not connect to the internet via the wireless. Called the cable company. The wifi is working and other devices using the wife connection (laptop and printer) work fine. I did get this message: "Physical connection is established, but not working. Check the TV or connected device's network settings." I've checked the wifi settings and re-entered the code to no avail." Also, the Youtube app dissappeared from the Samsung app menu.
