While stationed in Yokosuka, Japan with her husband, who is an officer in the Navy, my 30 yr old sister (former Navy and mother of 2 month old son) died on August 16, 2013 under suspicious circumstances of a traumatic head injury while at home. My brother in law was last to see her alive and the one to find her dead in a gruesome crime scene where her body was face down and she had such a nasty head wound to the back of her head that brain matter was found at the crime scene. Just returning from her stateside funeral in Houston, I was appalled at my brother-in-law's lack of grief and respect for my sister and our family as he partied each night and openly disparaged our family. NCIS has yet to return his cell phone and laptop. He is trying make everyone believe that my sister 'fell' since she did have a traumatic childbirth that damaged her pelvic area. I am to be interviewed by NCIS in a week. My brother-in-law is scheduled to return to Japan on the 14th of Sept. How long does this process last? What should we expect? Lead investigator in Japan has told me that this has gone to the level of the Pentagon. I am sick with not knowing what has happened to my sister.
