Lucy, My 1 yr old spayed dog, Pitsky. Came in heat 1 time,
Lucy, My 1 yr old spayed dog , Pitsky. Came in heat 1 time, which was a nightmare. Since then she was getting ear infectious (vet said from food allergy). She also has happy pee pee. But now, her vagina is swollen with bumps all over. (Very very sensitive area). I thought it was yeast infection? The 1st dose seemed to help? The 2nd changed nothing. Any advice you could give, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Rhonda

I have a boxer pit mix who was a rescue. A couple of times
I have a boxer pit bull mix who was a rescue. A couple of times since I got her a year ago, she has thrown up a great big glob of yellowish stuff that looks like phlegm. I just happened again this morning. Any idea as to what could cause this? She does have food allergies and is on a limited ingredient salmon and potato food. None of the 3 times this has happened has she gotten into anything else, that I know of.
I have a 7 year old cockapoo named Pris. She weighs about 15
I have a 7 year old cockapoo named Pris. She weighs about 15 lbs. For the last several weeks she has furiously itched and tried to nibble at her hind quarters. She does not have fleas. We've checked. We gave her a Benadryl and that provided some temporary relief. The problem is that in the middle of the night she starts whimpering from the pain back there. She has a normal appetite and behaves normally except for the irritation.
My 8yr old lab cross has had a large scab on her nose least
My 8yr old lab cross has had a large scab on her nose for at least a year. The vet we brought her to didn't know what it could be except for an allergy to her food. We changed her food a few months ago and it seems to be getting larger and she scrapes at the scab till it bleeds. Any idea of what this might be? We can send pics. ThanksJason

Is it a bad idea to daily switch your dogs food flavor?
Is it a bad idea to daily switch your dogs food flavor? Keeping with the same brand but alternating between various blends, lamb, venison, salmon or chicken. I know the importance of gradually switching dog food brands & types but once you settle on a brand is it just as important to slowly switch between flavors? We have a rat terrier on a grain free diet who's health has improved greatly since going grain free with Nutro dog food. Is there a risk of your dog becoming sensitive or allergic to it's food if you never change it? Thanks for your help & feedback, Tracy from WI.
