Samsung 52 inch LCD TV made purchased new in April 2009. Model #LN52A850S1F. For past 2 years when first powered up a single thin black vertical line appears in exact middle of screen from top to bottom. After about 10 minutes it slowly turns green and goes away entirely. Perfect picture after this. Then about 1 year ago a new issue appeared - a flickering image that forms a grid across the screen, when I let TV warm a few minutes I can bump the right hand side of the bezel and it will correct (goes away). This flickering grid sometimes reappears and goes away on its own also. What part(s) do I need to check out/replace to fix these issues?

When I press the retry option the speaker makes a distorted sound. I cannot get rid of the message.Can you please assist. Hi I have a 46" Samsung model # ***** with a manufacture date of May 2009.Great picture on TV until about a month ago started to get fuzzy picture with blue and red vertical lines of varying thickness.Took off the back cover and didn't see any disconnected or loose wires.One 'fix' said to loosen screws that attach a circuit board until picture returns - didn't work.Help!And thanks very much!Tom

We tried to have Direct TV installed a week ago. The technician was from AT&T and said he has installed "about 30" dishes. His hand-held device showed a clear line of sight from the position on the roof, but when he tried to receive a signal on the dish itself, it failed. The technician thinks the cause "might be" a section of branch, about 18" long, on a tree just outside of our property. Does this sound plausible to you?
