Hi. I've been in a monogamous relationship for a year and a half now. A few months prior to us meeting, my current girlfriend (27 y/o, I'm 28) tested positive for chlamydia (a little less than 2 years ago) and went through a round of treatment with antibiotics. After that, and before we were sexually active, she was tested and came up clear. I went through a full STD screen at the same time and came up clear as well. She also was tested earlier this year and came up clean.A week and a half ago, I developed symptoms of epididymis and the test just came back as positive for chlamydia. For treatment they switched me from the Cipro originally prescribed last week to doxycycline.Question is, is it possible that the chlamydia was dormant in my girlfriend over the past couple of years (even with the negative tests), or that she passed it to me early in the relationship?

I had chlamydia for 3 to 10 months about 10years ago. I was treated with antibiotics and abstained from full intercoursefor about 2 weeks. Fast forward 10 years and I am having problems conceiving. I dont recall abnormsl abdominal pain and a pelvic ultrascan I had in relation to ibs showed nothing abnormal. What are the chances I have had tube damage through pid? the gp did nit know or ask about chlamydia before the scan and I was not trying to conceive then so didnt think to ask.
severe pain/ache deep inside my vagina..genitals..stimulated..my body
For the past couple of years I have been experience a severe pain/ache deep inside my vagina whenever I get turned on - the genitals don't even have to have been physically stimulated in any way ie: the pain can be there even when I just wake up from a sexual dream. It seems to come on whenever my body starts to get turned on. If sex continues it will eventually die down but it is getting more and more painful at the start. I would really like to know what is causing this?
chlamydia, my partner is waiting to get his appointment for testingView more ob gyn questions
i have just been diagnosed with chlamydia, my partner is waiting to get his appointment for testing. the relationship is quite new and i was wondering if i have it what is the likelihood he has it, either from him giving it to me or vice versa? i am comfortable in telling him that we both need the treatment. however, because i got tested first i feel he may think its from me, which i know is not necessarily the case. i just feel it would be harder to deal with if his results came back negative
