In order to understand autoimmune disease, it may be helpful to know how the immune system is supposed to work. The immune system may be recognized as a defense system from infections and foreign objects in a dog’s body. There are white blood cells, antibodies and several other parts that help keep a dog’s system healthy. Read below where questions like, what are some common symptoms of autoimmune disease, how is autoimmune disease tested and can autoimmune disease in dogs result in death, may be answered by an Expert.

Now as for if the autoimmune disease its self could cause a seizure, in some cases where the disease is very severe, a seizure may take place but most likely this may not happen.

What kind of autoimmune disease could cause a dog the symptoms, lethargy, lameness, decreased vision, loss of appetite, weight loss and aggression?
