My Hitachi model P55t551 recently changed the picture size
My Hitachi model P55t551 recently changed the picture size and it is now larger than it should be. I cannot see words at bottom (such as a screen roll) or if moved around with the vertical button, cannot see the top. It seems to be too large for the screen.JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Hitachi is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?Customer: I went to the aspect button and it did not helpJA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?Customer: Only the screen size is a problem. 8 years old approximately Model P55t551JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?Customer: 2 daysJA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?Customer: Not sure, to be honest I was away and my parents stopped on way through town a day before I returned. They say they did nothing different, so I am not sure what happened. It was that way when I returned home from out of town work.
My 7 year old 65" TV Model LC-C65544 is always in some sort
My 7 year old 65" TV Model LC-C65544 is always in some sort of 'zoom' mod. The best picture appears when I choose the dot to dot selection. The other three modes show a picture zoomed even more. In watching a football game yesterday, I was not able to see the data transmitted at the bottom of the screen, such as score, down, etc. This information did appear on other TVs in my home. But not my 65" one. Do I need a new TV or is this a problem with my DISH satellite service?
Lst one for now, except for maybe the one im about to go
Lst one for now, except for maybe the one im about to go pickup in 20 minutes lol, it has picture but black horizontal lines. So...this one is a sharp aqhos, model lc52d92u. Have sound have picture, but every now and then it gets crazy pac-man lookin dotted lines, rgb, and i can tap the back of the panel and theyll go away or appear. I know typically that indicates a bad tab bond, i got lucky on a different 55 inch with same issue, and it was solved by cleaning and reseating lvds. Thoughts?

And is the remote the same, universal, or for another device?Customer: I don't know the make and model. The remote is just for the Tv.JA: The TV expert can solve this for you. I own a Sharp LC-52D82U LC TV. Yesterday, it suddenly started cutting off the top, bottom and sides of the picture, and becames much less sharp in terms of image quality.Checked to make sure cables were tight (OK), phoned Cogeco to make sure everything was OK on their end (OK), and checked all the settings on the Sharp remote (dot-by-dot) OK.Problem looks much like picture is in zoom mode (its not) and zoom mode still works.Any ideas???
