If you sent your return by mail and the IRS still does not acknowledge that they have it then you should mail in a copy again. You can print another copy and then sign and mail it. You would not have a penalty for late filing because you have a refund.

TurboTax would tell you the same. They can track if you e-file but not if you print and mail.
