I did not accept the government's subsidy in the tax year

Customer Question

I did not accept the government's subsidy in the tax year 2015 as I was about to go on Medicare. Am I still going to have to pay a fine for not having any health insurance in the months before I started with Medicare?
JA: The Accountant will know how to help. Is there anything else important you think the Accountant should know?
Customer: I did accept the subsidy in 2014, and paid them back in my return
