Guy 68 Social security said reached full retairment age and could work as much as want. Wouln' effct social security. went to work, they take social security out wich I will never get back. Can I deduct social security I pay in on tax

Donald:Unfortunately not. We're all in the same boat on this one. What they mean is they no longer reduce your Social Security benefits when you work past full retirement age. It used to be that you had to reach age 70 before you could work without having your Social Security benefits reduced. Now it's as of your full retirement age. All earnings are subject to Social Security tax or self-employment tax whether we are receiving Social Security benefits or not.
