The answer is you probably can, depending on the type of trust.
You can report on 1041, Schedule A, and allocate the deduction against income.
That would reduce the final income to distribute to income beneficiaries, or income tax at the trust level.

On form 1041, line 13, our office software opens a worksheet for charitable deductions. Any amount you enter goes to page 2 of the 1041, Schedule A. Line 1 is the gross charitable deduction.
It isn't a separate form.
