I am wanting to know if I work part-time while receiving SS,

Customer Question

I am wanting to know if I work part-time while receiving SS, MSSA, TERA, and PERA benefits how much ahead I would be financially? Is it worth the effort of a part-time income or will taxes eat up most of the extra money? Can I talk to someone about this?

Thank you for your question

Your tax will never be 100% of the additional money - In most cases, it will only be 25% or 33%, depending on your total income - in the end, it's a quality of life factor -- is the additional work worth the time given up.

Please let me know if you need anything additional. If not, please rate positive.
