Welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** it will be my pleasure to assist you with your tax question today.
Most creditors are not allowed to garnish your wages in Texas. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. Your wages can be garnished for:
•unpaid income taxes
•court ordered alimony and child support, and
•defaulted student loans.
If you are referring to delinquent property taxes, your wages cannot be garnished in Texas, but a lien can be placed on your property.
