Hello
I filed for an extension electronically and it was accepted. Now I'm trying to file my return electronically and it won't accept it because it says the SS# XXXXX my dependents have been used in a previuosly filed return.

Question
Can I file my returne online?
Or must I mail my return?
Also, do I have to send or check?
Or can I enter my banking info?

Lane :

Hi,

Lane :

You'll have to send it in via mail, because the dependent info is kicking it out of electronic filing criteria

Lane :

And there are several ways to pay electronically ... just a sec

Lane :

Here's everything you need for that: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Pay-Taxes-by-Credit-or-Debit-Card
