Excess wages for the third quarter are $4,826, not $7,208, and this is assuming only one employee in the business. Excess wages for the quarter are reported, not excess wages for the year. $7,208 is the year-to-date excess as of the end of the third quarter, so $7,208 should not appear on your third quarter form.
