It sounds like you need a category report.

Along the top menu bar is a REPORTS option. This is just below the blue header.

Pull down the menu and select SPENDING

Randalltax :

Then ITEMIZED CATEGORIES

You can modify the dates to suit the range, such as LAST YEAR

Randalltax :

By clicking the little PLUS signs next to a category, you can expand the detail. The MINUS closes up the detail.

Another way to get a report is to again click the REPORTS at the top

then select EASY ANSWER

A list of common reports comes up. You can choose Spending by Category, for example

Select your date range, and customize the report if you like, then SHOW REPORT button will display your report.
