Customer Question

i am a resident of Arizona and receive a pension from Quest which is from my deceased
husband's employment with Quest in Oregon. Do I need to file an Oregon Income Tax return?

Retirement paid from an entity located in one U.S. State is not taxable to a resident in another U.S. state. See 4 U.S.C. 114. Therefore no Oregon NR tax return is required.

Note: If you still have a residence in Oregon, you can be taxed.

Hope this helps.
