There is a bonus depreciation deduction in 2011 that allows you to deduct up to 100% of the cost of new equipment purchased. there is also whats known as a section 179 deduction that allows you to expense up to $250,000 for equipment purchases in 2011.

There is no special tax credit other than these deductions I just mentioned.

I don't believe I was clear enough on my previous question. I was inquiring whether there was a tax credit available to doctor's who converted from manual to electronic records/charts in 2011.
