Hello, THANK YOU for choosing Just Answer. My goal is to help make your life...a little...LESS taxing.

If the LLC is a single member LLC, and since you did not generate any income, you will not be required to file any forms with the IRS or the state of South Dakota. South Dakota levies no personal income tax or Corporate income tax.

The IRS treats one-member LLCs as sole proprietorships for tax purposes. This means that the LLC itself does not pay taxes and does not have to file a return with the IRS.

As the sole owner of your LLC, you must report all profits (or losses) of the LLC on Schedule C and submit it with your 1040 tax return.

Hello again,

I will be leaving the computer shortly. If you require further communication from me, I will respond when I return to the computer, which will be in about 5-6 hours.

Thank you.
