Hello and thank you for using Just Answer.

You can include in medical expenses amounts you pay for an inpatient's treatment at a therapeutic center for drug addiction. This includes meals and lodging at the center during treatment. If you were or are receiving this under inpatient then you can if you are not an inpatient in a facility then no.

You can include in medical expenses amounts you pay for prescribed medicines and drugs. A prescribed drug is one that requires a prescription by a doctor for its use by an individual. You can also include amounts you pay for insulin. Except for insulin, you cannot include in medical expenses amounts you pay for a drug that is not prescribed.

Unless you have an actual prescription for this drug it is not allowed.

I hope this information is helpful,
