Is California SDI income taxable

This answer was rated:

I had a stroke this past year. I am back to working part time. I collected SDI for 8 months, about 30,000.00. I've been working for 25 years paying into SDI and never had a reason to collect. Is any of this income taxable?
Good eveningCustomerand welcome to Just Answer!
