If the LLC is a sole proprietorship or partnership you would be required file a 1099 for payments in excess of 10 dollars in royalties or 600 dollars in trade or business.


If in doubt to the LLC status issue a 1099 anyway. The LLC that has elected to be taxed as a corporation does not require a 1099.
