My husband is a 100% disabled veteran. We are considering moving to MA to be near our family. We are now living in Florida. Will we be paying state income tax in MA and also what is the property tax exemption for 100% disabled vets?

Massachusetts does not tax retired military pay including VA benefits.

Massachusetts also does not tax Social Security, civil service, state/local government pensions.

Massachusetts does not have any special property tax provisions for disabled veterans, but the state has a circuit breaker program (real estate tax credit) for those who older 65 or disabled.
