How do you find out of someone has a bank account.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way for a private individual to find out if someone has a bank account.

In order to find that out, you need to have a person's social security number, and to be legal, you need to have them sign an authorization to obtain that private information.

If you have the Social Security number and a signed authorization, you can obtain it through one of the credit reporting agencies.
