Customer Question

We have a 2005 Subaru Legacy Outback 3.0 LL Bean. It has problem with head gasket - we think. Puts pressure to the radiator system. Is this the head gasket problem? How do we fix it?
JA: Is this your first time dealing with this issue? What size is your engine?
Customer: yes first time - 3 L H6
JA: Are you fixing your Outback yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes we plan to fix it ourselves - need more information.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The car has 180K and would like to do the maintenance while apart.

We will need a resource for technical information: torque specs, parts lists, specialty tools needed - as much information as we can get. Second option: we located a used 3.0L with 92K still in a car (can hear run) for $2200 - this a better route?
