Hi Im David, the flashing engine light means you were experiencing a misfire. which could be caused by a multitude of things. first thing to do is have the computer scanned for fault codes to see which cylinders were misfiring, then we can go from there. if you dont have a scan tool, you can take it to autozone in the morning and have them scan it for free. just remember to write the fault codes down and let me know what they are.

Customer: replied 28 days ago.
I got a P035 code. I changed the knock sensor and still having the same issue.
Expert:  david craig replied 28 days ago.

that code is not complete...p0325 maybe?

Customer: replied 28 days ago.
prob.
Customer: replied 28 days ago.
I did this yesterday
Expert:  david craig replied 28 days ago.

probably? well p0325 is the knock sensor, but it has nothing to do with your problem. its just sensing the vibration of the block due to the rough running and misfiring engine

Expert:  david craig replied 28 days ago.

that was the only code?

I scanned it twice
Expert:  david craig replied 28 days ago.

well you got other issues then. do a back pressure test to see if the cats are clogged.
