2.5 engine. Timing belt was changed 2x @ recommended mileage. I can see timing marks & direction arrows on used belt. Current belt was shred, not completely broken, therefore it has slipped on cams &/or crank and engine just died. I need to know what piston has to be in what position and how to align the 4 cams. I plan on doing the work myself because labor cost @ a shop would justify scraping the car due to rust & given it is probably closer to 300,000 miles after giving it more thought.
Also, is there a sensor that drives the speedometer, versus a cable? If so, where is it located?

I can send you the factory repair manuals to help you with your question.

R U telling me I may be into more work than I want? Will I have to pull heads, remove engine from car, etc? Will the manuals be hard copy or email?
Expert:  Dan replied 1 month ago.

You need to put the timing belt on and then do a compression test.

Expert:  Dan replied 1 month ago.

The manuals will be an email.
