JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: they blink
JA: What is the model/year of your Subaru?
Customer: STI, 2011
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: nothing, my son is on the at back to Delaware and noticed this problem
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: This is the only information I have as he is driving back to school.

Hello there,

There will be a code set in the vehicle, can we get a scan done please?

If it is a wheel speed sensor code or similar, the traction control will be disabled, cruise control won't work, etc.

Driving vehicle will do no damage?
does code at service area need to be reset?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I just needed to know that there is no harm to drive the vehicle unless your saying that he can reset the system himself?

You won't do any damage driving normally.

For an Sti, I would recommend Subaru looks at it for you.

All the best to you.

Kind regards

Thanks Gary,
But your reply made me scratch my head when you asked, But can you get a scan done, which I had no idea what this was in reference to since the vehicle was in route to Delaware and not at a dealership .Bye the time I received the response at 4am the vehicle had reached its destination leaving me to figure that it was drivable. But you did answer the question and you were there when I needed to reach out to someone, so for that I say Thanks..

Hi again,

There are a few variables as to how the answer may get to you, including times differences etc.

I hope you will get it looked at soon, and it is an easy repair.

I own a few cars, and one of them is a Club Spec WRX.

Subarus are one of the many good cars out there.

Kind regards

Gary
