Hello there,

Do you have a second key?

Is the car at home, and near a garage remote, or overhead power lines?

The brake pedal does not need to be depressed further than about 1/2 inch.

The vehicle is not recognizing the key correctly, so a scan for codes needs to be performed.

You may need to have the vehicle towed to your nearest Subaru dealer for further diagnosis.
