I am getting parts for garage to repair

Hi there,

I have owned a Brumby, I modded my shifter to eliminate the slop.

This thread may help you.

Take note of the slop where the selector goes on the rail.

Sorry that I haven't go t back to you my name is***** currently working shift, the vehicle is a Subaru Brumby Ute 4WD 4 speed gearbox 1984 ,all gears are ok ,just the gear stick has too much travel( play) you need to look for gears when driving or changing gears ,took Ute to the garage and they suggested that truck needs new bottom gear stick bushes, where can I get them from looking forward to ideas, modification or what ever, have pics of parts needed but don't know how to down load

Hi Georg,

Can you get your garage to read the additional info I have attached?

Parts are harder to find now, but there are many ways to make it good again.

Any mechanic with some knowledge will understand.

Hope this helps.
