I am replacing the tail light assembly on my 2007 outback. How to g t to the plug in harness
JA: Have you checked the bulbs? Have you checked the connection?
Customer: replaced the bulbs. The tail light has melted the plastic. So I need to put in a new assembly.
JA: Are you fixing your Outback yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am down to unplugging the harness. I have not found out how to get to the plug
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello I will help,

The connector is inside behind the trim. Can you just remove the lamps from the old and install them in the new?

Do you have aftermarket lamps installed? I am wondering why they melted the housing?
