Hi I'm Kevin do you know if you have a spark or not ?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
No spark, why would that be if there was spark before the work?
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Was battery disconnected or crank sensor ?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
both were.
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Both are connected now though.
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Just double check crank sensor plug is correctly fastened and no pins have been bent in plug

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I will do that now.
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Ok

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Checked connection, blades on connector look fine, reinserted, tried starting, same cranks but does not start.

Ok and timing marks were perfect ? Do you have an alarm fob with car ?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Timing marks are correct, and yes I have an alarm fob with car.
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Ok and fob releases Alarm ?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
it does, opens locks releases Alarm.
Are you saying it is possible that alarm in not being released and that's why there's no spark? Would I be able to see that by seeing if the dash alarm light is blinking after I open and disarm?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
No the light goes off when it is disarmed and I'm in the car trying to start it
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Ok then this rules out the alarm something somewhere is not correct cam sensors weren't disconnected ? Any earths removed ?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Cam sensor is connected, I'll check the grounds.
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Ok

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Checked grounds, they are all connected, rechecked cam sensor, it is connected as well. No changes, what else can I check?
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Do you have a scan tool ?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
should I check for codes?
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Yes lets see if car has picked up on anything

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Unfortunately my scan tool is busted, so I can't check codes. Anything else I can check without the tool?
Expert:  Kevin replied 5 months ago.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
